The blessed mom revealed that their goal of homeschooling has been to do a Christian-based curriculum which emphasis on character building like responsibility, honesty and self-control.

Homeschooling emerged in some rural districts of western and southern states, in protesting against secular education which harm the nation's youth. With the popularization of homeschooling resources, curriculum and online materials, homeschooling became a common culture.
How to start with homeschooling?
The '19-kids mom' shared her experience, 'I spoke to a veteran homeschool mom before I started homeschooling...she was wise to tell me that because I was chomping at the bit to get started with them [homeschooling resources]. I would've gotten all these resources, and honestly, we wouldn't have used them.'
Michelle acquired wisdom from her friend to start with simple phonics program, math workbook, but not something huge. The main point is 'just have funs'! Attention span is limited for children. They could just focus within 15-minute here and o another thing 15-minnute there. Therefore, teaching them rules of letters, sounds and phonics and concept of math will they be farther along than most of their age.
'He [Josh] was five, he was reading. We'd play phonics games and we'd play Go Fish and learn the names of these letters and the sounds. So I just think back and I laugh because I thought I probably overloaded him, but he didn't know any better and neither did I,' said Michelle.
'Once the children grasp the ability to read, it's like the whole world opens up to them,' she continues. Then, the children can be put in certain curriculum.
Michelle used the A.C.E curriculum for her children. She discovered that some of the kids can complete more quickly, and more talented in certain field and the schedule will be fitting to their own ability.
Most of all, the blessed mother enjoyed the process of homeschooling.
